Chris Pereira:

Chris Pereira: Also known by his social media name, Mat Nelson, Chris is one of the most well-known and respected multi-species fishermen in New Jersey. He is a lifelong resident of Hopatcong and long-time Knee Deep Club member who has fished Lake Hopatcong his entire life. Chris works in education, which allows him to guide for Lake Hopatcong Guide Service full-time in the summer and evenings/weekends in the Spring and Fall.

Joe Santiago:

Joe Santiago: Joe is well known among new Jersey fishing circles – and for good reason - he is a multi-species fishing machine. Joe fishes all over the state for all species but loves to spend his nights chasing Walleye and Hybrid Stripers on Lake Hopatcong. His schedule as a Local 25 sheet metal worker aligns perfectly with his specialty – night fishing. Spring, Summer, and Fall, Joe guides mostly at night for Lake Hopatcong Guide Service.

Tyler LaMantia:

Tyler LaMantia: A well-known local fishermen, Tyler grew up in Lake Hopatcong and has fished the lake since he was a child. A Police Officer in Jefferson Township, Tyler is a great guy to lead your day of fishing with Lake Hopatcong Guide Service. Tyler’s schedule allows him to take your groups on guided trips from Spring thru Fall.

Chris Mackin:

Chris Mackin: The name Mackin is legendary among fishermen in the know on Lake Hopatcong. Chris has fished the lake since he was a child and knows the lake as well as anyone. He is also an active member of the Knee Deep Club. Chris works as an industrial electrician Monday – Friday but guides for Lake Hopatcong Guide Service in the evenings and weekends Spring, Summer, and Fall.

Jason Tate:

Jason Tate: Not many people have put more time into fishing Lake Hopatcong then Jason. He is a Lake Hopatcong resident who has fished the lake for almost 30 years. All of this time on the water means your group can fish with confidence when he is your guide. Jason works as an elementary school teacher in nearby Roxbury and is an active member of the Knee Deep Club. He guides full-time for Lake Hopatcong Guide Service in the summer and every weekend and weekday evening in the Spring and Fall.

Kevin Cool:

Kevin Cool: Anyone fishing with Kevin will leave happy. He is as nice of a guy as you will ever meet and loves to share his passion for fishing with everyone around him. In addition to working as a guide on our fleet of Pontoon boats, Kevin also brings a second Lund Deep-V boat to the Lake Hopatcong Guide Service offering of boats. Kevin works as a Security Specialist and logs a typical work week, allowing him to guide for Lake Hopatcong Guide Service from Spring – Fall in the evenings and on weekends.

Jake Cerami:

Jake Cerami: One of the best up-and-coming anglers on Lake Hopatcong. Jake grew up on Halsey Island, surrounded by the waters and fish of Lake Hopatcong. He fishes the lake as much as anyone and brings that lifelong knowledge of the lake right to your group. Jake is a student at Florida Gulf Coast University but works full-time for Lake Hopatcong Guide Service in the summer.

Mike Cantagallo:

Mike Cantagallo: Mike is a true Lake Hopatcong guy. He is one of the best marine mechanics in the region and has worked on and fished the lake for most of his life. Mike is a well-rounded angler who chases Stripers in the salt, Trout in the streams of North Jersey, and all species in Lake Hopatcong on a regular basis. His work as a marine mechanic allows him to guide for Lake Hopatcong Guide Service on weekends and some evenings during the week from Spring thru Fall.

Liam Schleer:

Liam Schleer: A resident of Lake Mohawk, which is connected to Lake Hopatcong, Liam has fished these waters almost daily since he was a child. His passion for fishing and friendly personality will ensure that your group will have a great time on the water. He is currently a student at Seton Hall but works on a full-time basis for Lake Hopatcong Guide Service during the summers.
